Abs, Boobs, and Hopefully, a Lot of Cats. (Kaaro's Ramblings #3)

This will probably be the last blog thing I am able to write for this month, which is a more sad than happy occasion. With the end of this post means the end of my summer holiday, meaning eventually heading back to school/college/the-old-routine. It will be both a pain, A2 courses sound like absolute dread, but also a relief. I was kinda getting bored of my system of waking up, eating, surfing the web, eating more, playing on the Wii U, back on the web, then back to bed. At least in college I would have something to fill my time. That being said, summer of 2014 has been one of the most fun summers I have had for a while.

How are they standing on
the water like that?!
Oh, I'm also excited about the prospect of starting up "The Otaku Club", which will probably be better known as "Anime Club", at college. I am fully aware of how "otaku" is an insult in Japanese culture, meaning someone who is obsessed with something so much that it hinders their social ability, but honestly, I think that would describe me pretty well. True, my social skills are not as bad as I believe them to be. However, if I did not already make such good friends before encountering the realm of anime and manga, I'm sure I would have jumped head first into the dark hole of true otaku-ism... Meh, I think "Otaku Club" has a better ring to it than "Anime Club". If the club members (of which I hope there will be plenty) don't like it, then they'll just have to accept it. (But don't leave please. I need more people who like anime in my life.)

This image alone raises
several questions.
Next month on Kaaro Watches Anime, I hope to fulfill a promise I made to a friend by, reluctantly, watching Free. I expect a multitude of scenes where shirtless guys are swimming intensely. This is one of those times where I am very thankful I do not use Tumblr to search through anime: I have heard some odd things and I am a bit skeptical. I am also in fear of any members of the (what seems to be) intense fan base who happen to stumble upon my review... Please don't hurt me if I don't like it.

To balance out the ratio of males to females on this anime-reviewing blog, how about an ecchi? After Free, I will be watching The Comic Artist and His Assistants. One guy, four girls, use your imaginations to see where this may end up going. It is bound to be a lot of awkward perverted laughs and boob-related gags. So... fun, right?

Then to round off this odd little batch, The Pet Girl of Sakurasou should smooth things out nicely. A lighthearted comedy and romance (I hope) to warm my feels. Plus, it is apparently full of cats! CATS! NEKO! YAY!

Kitty cats! *Eyes sparkle*
And that will be all for now. This is hopefully September planned. I am considering doing a horror month for October seeing at it is Halloween. I don't personally believe in ghosts or that kind of thing, but I would not be completely closed off to the idea of meeting one. I'm sure it would be a great story I could tell one day (if I don't end up possessed and start killing people; what are the chances of that happening though heheh).

(Ps. I made myself laugh when I wrote the title of this blog post. Maybe my mind is just too immature of its own good. I will be needing to cleaning it out some time in the future.)

    1. When I wrote it, I didn't realize how funny it was.
=.= It'll only be a review of the first season though, as I only like watching things which are completed. Makes it lot easier to burn through.

    2. It's so good, right? I really don't care for the "abs and muscles" route a lot of people tend to take. They could be flabby or women for all I care. All I want is a slice of that sweet, sweet (anime) life. Slice of life is my fave genre, so if you end up liking this I'd recommend K-On. It's very similar in terms of humour and bromance (even though it's about girls)

That's pretty good though, nice thinking. I don't like it when people talk about half-finished things, unless it's literally weekly as soon as it airs. It's just sloppy otherwise. I'm waiting until winter before watching S2 because I'll have a LOT of spare time with NOTHING to do haha
